PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

Spokesman of break away group, Azam Tariq and a former Pakistani religious political leader of Lashkaer Jhangvi clan has announced that the Taliban breakaway faction is consisting of Mehsud tribe which would be lead by Khalid Mehsud known as Sajna in South Waziristan.

TTP announces one month cease fire with Pakistan government

TTP spokesperson Shahid Ullah Shahid Peshawar : Qari Shahid ullah Shahid, Spokesperson of Tahreek e Taliban Pakistan,  in his statement has announced that Pakistani Taliban has agreed on one month cease fire with Pakistan government. Shahid ullah Shahid said that Pakistani government has also agreed on their two basic demands, i.e to with draw troops from Waziristan and to release women and children of Taliban.

Taliban Commander Asmatullah Shaheen reported killed in a an ambush in North Waziristan

Asmatullah Shaeen Bittani has remained acting TTP commander after the death of Hakemullah Mehsud Peshawar : A key member of Tahreek-i-Taliban Pakistan's Shura, Asmatullah Shaheen Bittani was reportedly killed by unknown gunmen along with three others in Ghulam Khan Teshsil of the North Waziristan tribal area, according to media reports. He has remained acting TTP chief after Hakeemullah Mehsud's death and also headed the shura of Taliban, TTP has not confirmed his death yet.

A Senior TTP leader along with aides killed in Pakistani Jet Strike

Islamabad : A TTP leader Asmat Shaheen Bittani and Wali Mohammad, master trainer of suicide bombers along with dozens of foreign fighters were killed in an air strike by Pakistani jet fighters in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) according to security officials. 

20 Pakistan troops killed in a bomb blast

Taliban has also confirmed that their senior commander, Hakimullah Mahsud was killed while they were in a senior level meeting to discuss the talks with Pakistan.

ANP Leader Bashir Ahmed Bilour killed in a Suicide Attack

Senior Minister Bashir Ahmed Bilour, killed by suicide attack Peshawar : Senior Leader of ANP and Senior Minister of Pakhtunkhwa Bashir Ahmed Bilour passed away in Peshawar's Lady Reading Hospital after doctors failed to resuscitate him.  He was critically injured in a suicide attack at this evenin g where six people were killed.
