PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Karachi : After declaring Karachi Airport clear, security forces once again rushed back after the reports of more terrorists inside Qaid-e-Azam International Airport. 

These terrorists were equipped with suicide jackets, three of them had exploded themselves up while two are still under siege, according to media reports.

Security forces has isolated a warehouse where five more terrorist were hiding, increasing the total number of terrorist to 15. 

According to reports, the terrorists were in three different groups of 5 members each and penetrated inside the airport from different locations, Tahreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed the responsibility of the attack which is not surprising, as they had such an attempts on defense installations of Pakistan Air Force, Navy (Mehran Base), and Army previously.

All the flights at the Karachi international airport  are suspended and normal flight operations may not start until 1400 hrs local time, according to airport officials.
