PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Peshawar : Senior Leader of ANP and Senior Minister of Pakhtunkhwa Bashir Ahmed Bilour passed away in Peshawar's Lady Reading Hospital after doctors failed to resuscitate him. 

He was critically injured in a suicide attack at this evening where six people were killed.


The Bashir Bilour was attacked while he was exiting the residence of a local ANP leader following a meeting, along with his personal secretary and SHO Kabuli Police Station. 

Both the personal secretary as well as the SHO, Sattar Khan were killed on the spot while 18 others were injured. 

Hospital sources told that Bashir Ahmed Bilour was brought to the hospital in critical condition and was unconscious with critical wounds to his chest and stomach. 

The banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have claimed responsibility for the attack.
