PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Karachi : Torrential rains have hit Pakistan with heavy downpour causing severe flooding which claimed more than 50 lives across the country. 

Southern port city, Karachi have been submerged, with residence without electricity and water for almost two days.

Earlier, three the bodies of three kids have been found in Kawanri colony, Gadap area. 

Karachi’s Malir, Lyari and Gajar Nala were over flooded due to which footpaths have been destroyed and cars are afloat in the rainwater.
  
Pakistan’s Flood Forecasting Division has recorded low and medium flood at some places in River Indus, Kabul and Ravi, the forecast is that the river Indus and Kabul at Kalabagh, Chashma and Nowshera may have medium to high floods during the next 24 hours.
