CAIRO: A presidential spokesman in Egypt has said that Egypt has started a war against terrorism, reported a state-run news agency MENA.
The statement was followed after a meeting of interim President Adli Mansour and top officials, the statement also called on Egyptian people to take to streets on Friday to sanction the army coup against Mohammad Morsi government.
Although Adil Mansour's call was not to initiate violence but its end result will be violence, that is what army wants, they want to put both Mursi and Anti-Mursi forces in the streets and it will result in violence, after that it will be easy for Egyptian Army to label Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist party.

Morsi supporters are having a long sit-in in the Egyptian streets, although they have been attacked several times by army, police and liberals, due to which, more than hundred of their supporters were killed.
Muslim Brotherhood is holding their patience, in a way they know if they will react violently, they will become terrorist, as they are already labelled as Islamist.
To strengthen the cause, Egyptian agencies may be tasked to carry out bomb blasts through out the country which will be blamed over Muslim Brotherhood and eventually they will become Terrorist from Islamist, so it will be easy for Egyptian Army to start a war on terrorism, and West will have logic to support them fully.
The big friend of Egypt United States has delayed plans to supply Egypt with an additional four F-16 fighter jets due to unrest gripping the country, the Pentagon said on Wednesday.
Spokesman George Little told reporters, “Given the current situation in Egypt we do not believe it is appropriate to move forward at this time with the delivery of F-16s.”
