PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Libya: Haftar's Forces slow down GNA'S advance on Sirte


Tripoli : Internationally recognized govt forces of Libya which are backed up by Turkey has so far advanced rapidly until LNA lead by Haftar and backed up by UAE has slowed down them conquering Sirte as LNA vowed to fight until death, according to Aljazeera news. 

Eastern Based forced allied with military commander Khalifa Haftar has apparently slowed down the march on a strategic town of Sirte.

The Government of National Accord's , (GNA) fresh campaign into central Libya allows to capture the last stronghold of Khalifa Hatar's self styled Libyan National Army (LNA) in Turhuna, where a mass grave was found, south east of Tripoli. 

Bolstered by recent battlefield gains and a withdrawal by the LNA from around Tripoli, the GNA military officials launched the operation dubbed "Paths to Victory" to take Sirte and al-Jufra on Saturday.
