CIA winds down its drone programme in Pakistan

Drone victims protesting the killing of children by US drone in North Waziristan, Paksitan Washington : The CIA has announced that it is winding the program of targeted killing by drone in Pakistan due to stricter rules, diplomatic sensitivities and changing nature of al-Qaeda threat, according to AP. Peter Bergen of New America foundation, Washington thinks that, "The program (in Pakistan) appears to have ended," and it will dwindle further as the CIA and the military draw down in neighboring Afghanistan, reducing their intelligence-gathering capability.
