Edward Snowden is believed to have taken 1.7 millions secret US documents

U.S fugitive intelligence leaker Edward Snowden has said in a TV interview that he was not a low level contractor but rather a trained spy to work undercover overseas for intelligence agencies. 

Talking with NBC News he said that he worked "at all levels-from the bottom on the ground, all the way to the top."

Snowden said that it is no secret that the US tends to get more and better intelligence out of computers nowadays than they do out of people. 

Snowden is believed to to have taken 1.7 million secret US documents before being granted asylum in Russian.
