Former U.S secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said that she is proud of her part in keeping the strong relationship with Israel.
In a speech to the American Jewish committee's global forum in Washington on Wednesday she said, " I have been proud to do my part to keep our relationship rock-solid over the years".
Referring her upcoming book, "Hard Choices", Clinton said that, "I must say, as my book is published, you'll see more of the ways that I did that in the four years I served as secretary. The endless meetings, the vigorous discussions, even arguments, the endless phone calls. But it was always, for me , an important part of not just my responsibility, but my privilege to be a friend of Israel."
Taking Jewish audience Clinton said, "No deal is better than a bad deal, from my perspective, we cannot and should not accept any agreement that endangers Israel or our own national security."
