PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

12 killed as Pakistani jets attack Khyber Agency

Islamabad : Pakistani jet fighters attack suspected militant hideouts in Khyber Agency near Afghan border on Thursday killing twelve and injuring more than 15 according to Geo News.  The strikes came despite efforts by Nawaz government to engage the Taliban in talks to end years of fighting with insurgency. Both the Taliban and government committees meet yesterday and announced that they were very near to achieve stability and peace in the country. 

TTP Negotiator rejects talks with Pakistan under constitution

Warid Telecom to launch 4G LTE services in Pakistan

Islamabad : Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has accepted the plea of Ward Telecom to permit it to launch 4 G services in the country. With this, Ward Telecom has become second company to acquire the 4G licence after China Mobile company Zong.
