  KABUL, Sept 25 (Reuters) - The Taliban are creating a large-scale camera surveillance network for Afghan cities that could involve repurposing a plan crafted by the Americans before their 2021 pullout, an interior ministry spokesman told Reuters, as authorities seek to supplement thousands of cameras already across the capital, Kabul.

  Xiaomi is bringing Redmi Note 13 Pro+ this month and we are now learning some of its key specs. 

  Following the launches of the Mate 60 and the Mate 60 Pro, Huawei has now brought out the top model in the family, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+. This is based on the regular Pro with some components dialed up to 11. Let’s start from the top. Huawei is still keeping mum on the chipset that powers the Mates, it’s likely the 7nm Kirin 9000s that was produced in China.  Here it is paired with more RAM, 16GB (up from 12GB on the Pro), and 512GB or 1TB of storage. This is expandable via Huawei’s proprietary NM card format (which after all these years still tops out at 256GB).  The display is a 6.82” LTPO OLED, just like the Pro, but the plus is a bit sharper – it has 1,260 x 2,720px. This is a 10-bit panel with a refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz and has 300Hz touch sampling.  Brightness is controlled by a 1,440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
