The new phone will run on Dimensity 7200-Ultra – a souped-up variant of the 4nm platform by Mediatek.
It will also have a 200 MP camera with a Samsung ISOCELL sensor, which will come with improved processing to boost image clarity and digital zoom.
The Redmi Weibo account revealed the details in a series of teasers, bragging about its three-way partnership with Mediatek and Samsung to offer “a new height in 200 MP images”.
The ISOCELL HP3 sensor is identical to the one used in the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, but the new 4nm chipset will offer refined processing to improve the final output.
The company did not reveal the date of the launch, only saying “see you this month”, so it can't be long now. We are staying alert on info on what other phones Redmi will join the Note 13 lineup - a vanilla and a Pro seem a given, but their announcement schedule is yet to be confirmed.
