Imran Khan becomes 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan

Islamabad: Former Cricketing legend and the leader of Pakistan Tahreek e Insaaf Imran Khan becomes 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan by securing 176 votes in the National Assembly.

Whereas Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz contestant and brother of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif got only 96 votes. Pakistan People's Party did not took part in the voting of Prime minister ship. PML'N electives protested in front of Speaker National Assembly and shouted slogans against the Imran Khan's election. 

Imran Khan is respected as a legendary hero in Pakistan after he won 1992 cricket world cup in Australia.

Imran Khan's Pakistan Tahreek e Insaaf (PTI) won recent elections in Pakistan.

Imran Khan is also set to establish his government in KPK, Punjab, and Baluchistan Provinces of Pakistan, whereas; Sindh province choose to stay with status-quo and choose Pakistan People's Party.
