PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Saudi Seek Pakistani Support against Iran

Islamabad: Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Muhummad Bin Salman who is also minster of Defence and deputy prime minister, arrives in Pakistani Capital today to seek support as Kingdom mulls additional steps against its neighbor Iran.

During his visit he will meet high ranking Pakistani officials along with Chief of Army Staff, Prime Minister and Defence Minster of Pakistan.

 Its is thought that a military cooperation arrangement is expected as this is second highest visit by Saudi officials this month.

Pakistani Parliament in its resolution has already asked the government to play vital role in bringing both Muslim countries closer.
