Following Malaysia, Saudi Arabia has also announced to test Cadbury chocolate bars for traces of pork DNA, Aljazeera English reported.
The statement by Saudi Food and Drug Authority was published on its site on Saturday stating that it has taken samples of Cadbury chocolates from the local market.
Many Muslim countries may follow the testing of Cadbury as pork is Haram (strictly prohibited) in Islam.
Cadbury Malaysia said in a statement on Friday that it had withdrawn the two products as a precaution and that it had no reason to believe there was pork-related content in its other foods.
