Released US soldier converts to Islam, faces charges of treason

Robert Bergdahl, the father of released US soldier addressing the press along with President Obama
The released US soldier, Bowe Bergdahl, actually deserted the US forces after converting to Islam, a new controversy over the fate of US soldier has emerged in US media after his father's press conference with President Obama.

Robert Berghadl, father of Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, started his speech by reciting "Bismillah" a verse of Qur'an which Muslims generally recite before starting any thing which means "In the name of Allah (God). Seeing this, many American people and media think that, not only Robert Berghadl is Muslim but his son would also have converted to Islam and deserted the US forces.
According to media reports, an inquiry is underway on the matter to work out whether Sergeant Berghadl deliberately deserted the US forces or would have been captured by Taliban during fighting.

After watching the video all becomes very clear that Robert Berghadl recited "Bismallah", because he thought that his son "would have forgotten the English" after remaining captive in Afghanistan for five long years. A very funny statement on which President Obama also laughed.
