PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

London: An statement issued by MQM's Coordination committee quoting the message of their party leader on Thursday said that the life of Altaf Hussain is in serious danger.

The MQM chief declared in his address from London that false allegations were being levelled against him on international level and conspiracy had been hatched to file baseless cases against him. Altaf Hussain urged his workers to take this message seriously.
Altaf Hussain's statement came just two days after UK Police sought help of Pakistani government in tracing two suspects believed to be involved in the murder of MQM's former senior leader Imran Farooq which was killed outside his home in Edgware, London, close to to MQM's Headquarters in 2010.

 Documents obtained by BBC Newsnight name the suspects as Mohsin Ali Syed and Mohammad Kashif Khan Kamran, MQM workers, which are said to be held by Pakistani authorities.

Altaf also made clear that he will never bow before any foreign pressure, without mentioning the name of UK.
