The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.
Karachi : Sindh government has banned pillion riding and aerial firing for 12 hours on the eve of new year in Karachi.
The ban will come in effect from sunset today till sunrise tomorrow but women, children under 12, journalist and old citizen are exempted from it.
Sindh traffic police has also announced that they will take severe action against the bikers with broken or without silencers in their bikes.
Traffic police has also deployed extra 270 personnel and have chalked out the route for traffic towards Clifton area, the extra traffic police will be deployed around 6 pm to 2 am, the traffic police are expecting the heavy traffic around 11 pm when huge traffic is excepted to move towards sea side to celebrate new year.
