PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

Karachi : Sindh government has banned pillion riding and aerial firing for 12 hours on the eve of new year in Karachi. The ban will come in effect from sunset today till sunrise tomorrow but women, children under 12, journalist and old citizen are exempted from it.

Mobile Services Suspended in 49 cities across Pakistan

Islamabad : Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has announced t hat pillion riding is already banned in the country, urging the nation not to take bikes on streets till 10th of Muharram.  He said that mobile phone services would remain suspended in 49 cities across the country for three days.

Warid Telecom to launch 4G LTE services in Pakistan

Islamabad : Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has accepted the plea of Ward Telecom to permit it to launch 4 G services in the country. With this, Ward Telecom has become second company to acquire the 4G licence after China Mobile company Zong.
