TIKRIT : More than 40 people were killed when militants attacked and temporarily occupied the city council headquarter building and bombed it while employees inside the building.
Meanwhile, Iraqi security forces surrounded the building and released 40 people which were held inside the building, according to Counter-Terrorism Service Spokesman.
According to AFP, more than 6,500 people have been killed since the beginning of 2013 in Iraq.
Iraqi Prime Minister Noori Al-Malaki has blamed the bomb blast across Iraq on Al-Qaeda, where as sophistication and techniques of attacks are advancing as some reported bomb blast were not any suicide bombs but sticky bombs were used which shows how much advance techniques are adopted by the attackers.
