Russia has directed two of its warships towards Mediterranean sea as Inter Fax News agency quoting an armed forces general staff says that deployment was in the response to a "well known situation".
United States and its allies has threatened Syria to attack while Russia strongly opposes any kind of attack against the Syria.
Russia, as part of plans have to station five or six vessels in the region, and initial reports stated that Russia had sent an anti-submarine ship and a missile cruiser to waters near Syria because the crisis “required us to make some adjustments” in the naval force, according to Interfax.
