PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Islamabad : The Armed man who hijacked the capital city for hours has finally captured by police with the daring act of  a politician Zamrud Khan.

The drop scene of drama came to end at about 2300 hours on Thursday when Zamrud Khan of PPP, the main opposition party of Pakistan, went ahead to negotiate with armed man and jumped over him to capture his arms, during this the gun man was pushed back from his wife and children to create chance for law enforcement agencies to shoot at his legs and one bullet passed through his chest also wounding him critically, during this the wife of gunman was also injured.

The gunman is admitted in PIMPS hospital along with his wife and is in critical condition, though his wife is said to be out of danger and his children are safe.

FIR has been lodged against gunman Sikandar Khan and his wife Kanwal.
