PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Islamabad: Supreme court, while hearing the contempt of the court against Imran Khan, stated that it is not fully satisfied, and called the answer as "Insufficient " response.

The court has further directed former cricketer turned into politician, to submit his detailed answer on 28 of August. 

The Supreme Court on Friday directed Imran Khan Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to resubmit comprehensive statement in writing by August 28 in a contempt of court case being heard by it.The court showed disappointment over Khan’s reply submitted on Friday, according to APP.

While Imran Khan said in the response that he had used the word "shameful" to describe presiding officers involved in the recent election, and not the judiciary.
