PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

Dr Tahir ul Qadri and Future of Pakistan

Karachi : Chief of Tahreek Minhaj Dr Tahir ul Qadri is here to address in Jinnah ground on invitation of MQM chief Altaf Hussain.

People of Pakistan question the timing and agenda of Dr Tahir ul Qadri, as elections are to be held with in months and people of Pakistan are now going to select a new political force to govern their country.

But, Dr wants them to march towards Islamabad and prepare for a revolutions which should be greater than Egyptian Tahrir Square.

The question arises that why Dr wants to delay elections, the answer is simple, this is the year that US and Nato forces are to withdraw from Afghanistan and they want a pro-government in Pakistan, for this purpose they want an interim government with establishment playing a primary role in it so that they could be given a safe passage to exit.

The new government could brought more difficulties for US led Nato forces to exit and they could find difficult to define new rules of engagement so it will be better to continue this pro government or if this is not possible, and this is not possible at this stage, so they will try to put in an interim government which could with held election for at least one year to give a safe passage to allied forces and settle some other issues.

For this they first pressurized Zardari  government to withheld elections, but when Zardari felt difficult to do so they put in Imran Khan. When Imran Khan's graph, despite initial popularity, declined and this plan failed they quickly withdrew their puppet leaders from his party and he was left  alone.

Now, they inserted a new coin in the game in the name of Dr Tahir ul Qadri who has already known as a great scholar in Pakistan.

Dr Tahir ul Qadri, came Pakistan after remaining eight years in self exile, he gave a slogan of "save state not politics" which shows clearly that he is against current political system, although he claims he is not, he gave call of long march towards Islamabad on 14 January 2013.

After successful episode of Lahore his popularity graph raised quickly and soon as expected known pro-establishment parties like MQM, PML'Q' and many nationalist parties in Sindh followed him, we are still astonished that why Imran Khan has not yet joined him, but sooner or later he is expected to join Qadri in a long march.

Yesterday, Dr Tahir ul Qadri, addressing a great rally facilitated by MQM Leader Altaf Hussain in Karachi, said that he don't want to participate in Pakistani politics but his agenda is to make sure that the law is being implemented accordingly in a true letter and spirit.

Pakistani nation is now a days wondering that what to choose, either they follow orthodox politics of PPP and PML'N' or they swing towards Dr Tahir ul Qadri who has no agenda or clarity but rather creating more confusion and problems for already stressed and tense society.
