PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

  Cricket legend Wasim Akram has urged the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to apologise and delete its August 14 video that paid homage to country’s cricketing legends and milestones but made almost no mention of Imran Khan — the cricketer-turned-politician under whose leadership Pakistan won its sole ODI World Cup in 1992.

Lahore : After removing him from Chairman PCB, fourth time Yesterday, Supreme Court once again reinstated PCB Ad-hoc Chairman Najam Sethi today, which shows worst kind of decision making on the behalf of supreme court and government. Najam Sethi has been removed four time earlier and reinstated on the instigation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who is an strong supporter of Najam Sethi. Former PCB chairman Zaka  Ashraf is also contestant for the said post.

Game of Musical Chair is ON in PCB Islamabad : PCB Patron and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is once again set to disband the Zaka Ashraf PCB today (Monday), reported The Nation quoting its confirmed sources. According to newspaper, Shakil Sheikh's resignation from PCB Governing Body and his immediate press conference late Sunday was a part of a well-written script to pave the way for further development.

Zaka Ashraf reinstated third time as PCB Chairman

Zaka Ashraf has been reinstated for the third time as PCB Chairman Islamabad : Pakistan Cricket Board's former chief Chaudary Zaka Asharaf is once again reinstated as the chairman of PCB by a Pakistani High court. Zaka Ashraf was twice removed from his post earlier, recently he was reinstated by Islamabad high court as a PCB Chairman but was sacked by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who brought his close aide Najam Sethi, an anchor in Geo TV, and with no back ground of cricket.

PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf is dismissed

Zaka Ashraf has to announce Pakistan team coach today Islamabad : Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Zaka Asharaf is removed and whole PCB working body is also dismantled by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.  The timings of the removal are very critical as Pakistan has been isolated after Big Three issue, and former Chairman Zaka Ashraf has been complaining about chief patron Nawaz Sharif who, despite of repeated calls from PCB Chairman didn't bothered to meet him.

Moin Khan appointed as Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket Board

Warid Telecom to launch 4G LTE services in Pakistan

Islamabad : Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has accepted the plea of Ward Telecom to permit it to launch 4 G services in the country. With this, Ward Telecom has become second company to acquire the 4G licence after China Mobile company Zong.
