PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Najam Sethi once again reinstated as PCB Chairman

Najam Sethi is reinstated third time as PCB Chief Islamabad : Supreme court has suspended the reinstating decision of Zaka Ashraf by Islamabad High Court and once again reinstated Najam Sethi management committee in the game of musical chair in PCB which started in July, 2013. Both PCB Chairman, Najam Sethi and Zaka Ashraf are reinstated three times each, and most loser in this scenario is Pakistan Cricket.

Zaka Ashraf reinstated third time as PCB Chairman

Zaka Ashraf has been reinstated for the third time as PCB Chairman Islamabad : Pakistan Cricket Board's former chief Chaudary Zaka Asharaf is once again reinstated as the chairman of PCB by a Pakistani High court. Zaka Ashraf was twice removed from his post earlier, recently he was reinstated by Islamabad high court as a PCB Chairman but was sacked by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who brought his close aide Najam Sethi, an anchor in Geo TV, and with no back ground of cricket.

Warid Telecom to launch 4G LTE services in Pakistan

Islamabad : Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has accepted the plea of Ward Telecom to permit it to launch 4 G services in the country. With this, Ward Telecom has become second company to acquire the 4G licence after China Mobile company Zong.
