PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

36 detained Morsi Supporters killed, Interior Ministry

  The injured people lie on the ground with out first aid Cairo : Interior ministry of Egypt has confirmed the reports of  detained Morsi supporters killing in jail, which says that they were killed while attempting to escape from jail. The ministry said that the detainees had been killed by asphyxiation due to teargas and “crowding”, the statement was released late Sunday night.

Death toll rises to 136 in Egypt’s rival clashes

A slain Muslim Brotherhood supporter is carried away by medics (AFP) Cairo :Britain's Guardian newspaper is reporting that at least 136 people have been killed in clashes in Egypt between rival groups.  The newspaper reported that the dead were supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi, and cited the Muslim Brotherhood as its source for the figure.

Warid Telecom to launch 4G LTE services in Pakistan

Islamabad : Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has accepted the plea of Ward Telecom to permit it to launch 4 G services in the country. With this, Ward Telecom has become second company to acquire the 4G licence after China Mobile company Zong.
