Govt Reverses PEMRA Ban on Imran Khan

Islamabad: Govt has reversed the decision of PEMRA to ban TV Channels to air Imran Khan's Speeches and Press Conferences.

Govt's order came within a few hours after PEMRA's banned TV Channels to air any interview or speech.

According to a statement released by Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered the media watchdog to ensure the continued implementation of legal requirements under Article 19 (freedom of speech) of the Constitution.
