PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

FO dismisses reports of FM Bilawal writing letter to UAE about Arshad Sharif’s extradition

 


ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Foreign Office on Friday dismissed the news about Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari writing a letter to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) regarding the extradition of renowned journalist late Arshad Sharif to Pakistan, deeming it as ‘baseless’. 

In the statement issued by the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, it has been said that there is no truth in the social media reports of the Foreign Minister writing a letter to the UAE.

In this regard, the spokesman further said that Pakistan had not written any letter to the UAE for the extradition of Arshad Sharif, adding that the bogus news is being spread on social media regarding the extradition of Arshad Sharif from the UAE.
