Karachi : Aisrport flight operation is once again closed after heavy exchange of firing between security forces and unknown terrorists. According to media reports, 4-6 terrorist attacked airport from the vicinity of Pehlwan Goth on ASF academy in Bhitai Abad area.

Heavy gun fire continued as more troops were called in to handle the situation with military helicopters patrolling over the area.

According to initial media reports, some unknown terrorists attacked the ASF Academy located at Bhitai Abad in which 3 ASF personnel were injured, but the claim can not be verified yet.

According to Senior Police Official Malir, "no such an incident of attack had occurred and no ASF personnel were injured," commenting on the incident he said,  "ASF personnel would have reacted after hearing the gun firing sounds coming from somewhere in Pahalwan Goth,"

It is still unclear whether an attack took place or not but it has hampered the flight operations of the most busy airports of Pakistan.

Dawn News reported via a twitter account, allegedly operated by Omar Khorasani of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Mohamand faction, following tweet in which he claims the responsibility of the attack.
Although the Tweet could not be verified but still one could feel that how far the extremist could go to kill the people and destabilize the country.

It seems that apparently media is creating hype by reporting in panic, the events must be clarified before reporting live coverage of any sensitive matter.

The Sunday's attack on airport claims about 29 lives including 8 dead bodies found in cold storage facility which were recovered today.
