PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Mirpur, Bangladesh : Pakistan has beaten India by one wicket in a nail biting match of Asia cup here and has qualified for the final of Asia Cup.

Today Pakistan won the toss and choose to field first, India in her innings scored 245/8 in allotted 50 over match.

In reply Pakistan played very well, especially Muhammad Hafeez scored 75 runs, but hero of the match was Shahid Khan Afridi who scored 34 in 18 balls with 3 sixes and 2 fours. 

The match was a twist and turn between both ends, at one stage Pakistan need 13 runs from 12 balls with four wickets in hand but match twisted very fast with Pakistan loosing 3 quick wickets and left with no choice but 10 runs in 6 balls with only one wicket in hand.

Juanid Khan took one run to give Afridi a try to win the match for no surprise he hit two sixes on two consecutive balls and at the end gave a sensation victory to Pakistan over India.

Muhammad Hafeez of Pakistan was given man of the match award.
