Colombo : Asian Cricket Counsel has finally decided that Bangladesh will host the coming Asia Cup cricket tournament despite of political instability and turmoil in the country.
Pakistan has initially said that their team will not be visiting the Bangladesh due to recent political instability after Bangladesh hanged JI leader.
Bangladesh got independence from Pakistan in 1971 with the help of Indian invasion, the relations between both countries were fair but recent hanging of JI leader by Bangladesh has severed the ties between the both Islamic countries.
Another development regarding the Asia Cup is that Afghanistan is also included as a fifth team to play in Asia cup making the number of would be played matches to 11.
