PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Ice Storm in US leaves more than 370,000 People homeless

 New York : A major ice storm this weekend has left more than 370,000 people with out power in offices and homes in Southern United States. 

More than 7000 flights were behind the schedule in New York, Washington, and Chicago until Monday and people struggled to travel on Christmas.

In Michigan only, about 250,000 people were with out power and they have to wait for weeks until power is restored in these areas.

At least 11 people have been killed so far due to Ice storm .

The storm is said to be one of the worst storm in US recent history as reported previously the worst storm hit in 1998 in north east US and Canada where close to 3 million consumers lost power.

Although these blockbuster ice storms are not new to US and they revisit frequently after two to three years especially to southern parts of United States according to weather experts.
