PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Islamabad : Following the nomination of new Chief of the Army Staff, Pakistan has also announced its news Chief Justice, President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain has signed the notification today.

Tassaduq Hussain Jillani is known as "Gentleman Judge" will be replacing current "activist" judge Chaudry Iftikhar Huassain who became famous after taking up a coup against former army general and chief executive of Pakistan general Pervaiz Musharaff.

Chief Justice Tassadaq Hussain Jillani is a relative of former Pakistani president Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani.

Pakistan today also announced General Raheel as new Army Chief  of Pakistan which will take the charge from General Kiyani.
