PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Tehran : A man survived after being hanged for about 12 minutes in Iran, according to Iranian news agency FARS News reported the incident.

According to reports a man Ali Raza was hanged about 12 minutes and released after doctor declared him dead. But, before burial, some signs of life were observed by relatives who took him to hospital where doctors after giving him first aid.

The man is still in hospital but when Iranian police learned about the event they again took the man in custody and now according to media reports Iranian government again want him to be executed.

The Amnesty International and other International human rights organizations has appealed Iranian government to release the man according to international laws through which a man can be executed one time only.

37 year old Ali Raza has one wife and two daughters, he was ordered execution after found involved in activities against the Iranian state, although his wife and daughter were very happy on Ali's revival from death but his wife went in shock after she learned that Iranian government is resolved to hang Ali again.

Iran has so far hanged more than 500 persons this years for the crimes of theft, drugs and activities against the State.
