The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has banned a concert by US pop singer Ke$ha after seeing that it would hurt cultural and religious sensitivities.
Both the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia said separately that it was rejecting the application for Ke$ha to perform for reasons of religion and culture.
Concert organizer Livescape also confirmed the decision by saying that they have received a letter about the decision on the eve of the show that was to be held Saturday at a Kuala Lumpur stadium.
US pop singer Ke$ha is famous for his hits songs which include ''Tik Tok'' and ''Die Young,'' which make explicit references to sex and liquor, both are banned in Malaysia due to its Muslim background.
