Cairo: Egypt’s first ever elected president, who was ousted through a military coup, is referred to a criminal court over the killing of a journalist reported MENA.
Hesham Barakat, the prosecutor general, accused Muhammad Morsi and 14 others of inciting violence and committing murders of his opponents over his presidential declaration in the Itihadyah area near the presidential palace on Dec. 5.
Since the military coup in early July, more than 350 members of the Brotherhood have been arrested, including its General Guide Mohamed Badie.
