Israel claims to carry out joint missile launch with U.S in Mediterranean

Israel and US has conducted combined missile test in Mediterranean

Tel Aviv :  Earlier Russia said that its early warning radars has spotted two ballistic rockets in Mediterranean Sea, Israel responding the statement claimed the responsibility of firing the missile for test purpose along with United States, reported Russian Today.
According to Russian ministry of defense, the launch took place at about 06:16 GMT and its trajectory was from central part of Mediterranean towards the Eastern Land Mass (Syria).

Syria owes Russian S-300 P surface to Air System
The confusion was created by earlier denial by Israel along with NATO and U.S which say that they were unaware of the any missile firing in the Mediterranean Sea, but later on Israel and U.S acknowledged that they have fired the test missiles in the region.

The both of the airborne missiles fell into the sea, reported Reuters quoting Russian news agency RIA Novosti.

The world was alarmed after the earlier reports that suspected that the missiles would have been fired by U.S towards Syria.

It seems that Israel and US were conducting a secret missile test which was accidentally  revealed by the Russian missile systems. It is also evident that United States wants to protect Israel first before attacking Syria, as Iran and Syria has threatened to attack Israel if they are attacked by United States.

Israel was attacked by Russian skud missiles during Gulf war and despite of claims that US Patriot missile shielded the Israel, later reports revealed that  99% skuds hit the Israel.
