Islamabad : An IT committee has forwarded its recommendations to Prime Minister, after removing about 3000 offensive URLs against Islam and Pakistan from the site, reported Pakistani media.
The committee has made responsible Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), to remove any future offensive URLs from site.
YouTube has remained blocked in Pakistan for about a year or so, after it did not blocked the URLs with insulting remarks on Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Despite of the entertainment the YouTube is a major source of information for students as well as scholars.
