Cairo: Opposition leader of Eqypt and Nobel Lurette ElBaradei has been tipped to become new caretaker prime minister of Egypt after taking assurances from military leadership.

State news agency MENA and other official sources confirmed the appointment, but a presidential aide said later that a prime minister had yet to be named, while adding ElBaradei “is the logical choice”.

Former IAEA chief and Opposition Leader of Egypt ElBaradei
“ElBaradei is the strongest candidate,” presidential adviser and spokesman Ahmed al-Muslimani told AFP." He is on top of the list of names” under discussion, he said.

His appointment could ignite more concerns about the loyalty of Egyptian Military, who has been accused of maintaining strong ties with United States and Israel,

The military is also accused of planting ElBaradei and to derail the first time elected government of Muhammad Morsi.

AFP reported quoting the unknown source that various camps that agreed to the military's roadmap for a political transition were still trying to convince the Salafist Al-Nour Party to back ElBaradei.

Muslim Brotherhood staged a new show of force to demand the military restore Morsi to power, after 24 hours of violence that left 37 people dead and over 1,400 injured. Many of the movement's senior leaders have been arrested.

The statement of Muslimani also conveys a hidden message which states that “we extend our hand to the Muslim Brotherhood.” ”I think the Muslim Brotherhood has many opportunities in the coming period, to enter elections.”

The statement itself convey that if the leadership of Muslim Brotherhood tried to show any resistance than they will end up in the jail rather than government and it further convey that they will be not the part of future government.
