PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Centurion : Pakistan got some of Test matches revenge from South Africa beating hosts by 95 runs. Pakistani Captain Muhammad Hafeez after winning the toss decided to bat first and his decision gave good results as he managed to give South Africans a huge total to chase.

Both Muhammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shahzad played a brilliant innings of 86 and 46 each. Pakistan scored 195/7 in allotted 20 overs.

The reply from South Africa was severe, specially Captain de velliers played a good knock of 36 runs before Umer Gul came to rescue of Pakistan and got three wickets in his first over as a result South Africans were all out on 100 in 12.2 overs. Umer Gul bowled his carrier best by getting fiver African wickets by giving 6 runs in 2.2 overs.

Pakistan is leading the T20 series by 1-0 as first match has been cancelled due to rain.
