PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

London : A British Journalist Ed Hawkins in his new book ‘Bookie Gambler Fixer Spy: Journey to the corrupt heart of cricket’s underworld’, has claimed that the Cricket match between Pakistan and India was fixed.

According to Hawkins the bookie was in contact with Pakistani cricketers and claimed that he was in contact with Pakis through an Indian actress.

The bookie has claimed that Pakistan would loose the match with the margin of more than 20 runs while India will make 260+ runs and their first three wickets will fall with in 15 overs and Pakistan will make 100 runs and their two wickets will fall quickly.

On the other hand ICC has rejected Hawkins report by declaring that ICC will not act on heard reports with out any proof.


Three Pakistan players, Muhammad Aamir, Muhammad Aasif and Salman Batt were already convicted and jailed on match fixing charges this year.

Pakistan is also under pressure as no foreign team has visited since terror attack on Sri Lankan team at Lahore.
Hawkins book, "Bookie Gambler Fixer Spy: Journey to the corrupt heart of cricket's underworld" will be published on 15 November this year.
