Islamabad: Pakistan People Party has boycotted the presidential election along with collation parties.
This was announced while addressing a press conference here, PPP's presidential candidate and senior leader Senator Raza Rabbani said that his party was left with no other option but to boycott the poll.
He accused the supreme court of taking one "Sided Action" which was "Unjust".
The Election Commission has initially announced the date of Presidential election on 6 August, but ruling party PML'N' wanted to change the date, they appealed in the court and astonishingly court not election commission cahnged the date to 30 July.
However, Imran Khan's Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaaf, although, condemnd the decsion but did not boycott the poll.
The Awami National Party (ANP), the Balochistan National Party - Awami (BNP-A), Awami Muslim League (AML) and PML 'Q' has announced a boycott of the presidential poll.
A delagation of Pakistan Muslim League 'N' to visit MQM headquarter 90 Friday (today) to sought the MQM's support.
PML'N' has nominated Mamnoon Hussain for presidential election who is to replace current president Asif Ali Zardari.
