Jarren Duran, a player for the Boston Red Sox, said a really bad word to a fan during a game. The fan was making fun of him, but that's no excuse for using bad words.

Duran felt really bad about what he said. He said he was sorry to everyone, especially to people who are gay. He said he wants to learn from his mistake and be a better person.

The Red Sox team also said sorry and promised to teach everyone on the team to be kind to everyone.
