iPhone 15 Exclusive Exposes Surprise Apple Design

iPhone 15 leaks have exposed almost every detail about Apple’s new iPhones, but now one more surprising detail has now been revealed.

In a new post, leaker Majin Bu states that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will only have a 4,422 mAh battery, despite recent reports claiming that Apple would introduce a massive 4,852 mAh unit.

While this is only a small increase compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max (4,323 mAh), it could still have an outsized impact. The reason for this is twofold.

First, Apple’s switch to a 3nm fabrication process for the A17 chip, which is coming to both iPhone 15 Pro models.

The jump to 3nm will allow the chip to run faster, cooler and more power efficiently, with analysts claiming it could boost battery life by as much as 20%.

Consequently, while a big increase in battery capacity is always welcome, any physical capacity bump is really just a bonus — and it looks like iPhone 15 Pro Max buyers will get one.

Moreover, rivals are unlikely to catch up to Apple’s main advantages any time soon.

Only Samsung is in a position to offer stacked battery tech, while Apple has reportedly secured TSMC’s entire supply of 3nm chips for their first year of production.
