PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

Israeli President Forces Fire Air Strikes against Palestinians in Gaza



ISRAEL has blasted Palestinian targets in Gaza with a new series of airstrikes, as Israeli military action showing no sign of slowing. In the latest incident, a number of air attacks were carried out by the Israeli military.

Hamas said on Saturday: "Israeli jets carried out strikes on the Ayn Jalut position, which belongs to the resistance movement in western Khan Yunis, in southern Gaza Strip.” 

In a statement, Israeli defense forces said that they had launched an airstrike against Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip. The statement read: "Several minutes ago our military jets carried out an airstrike on terror targets of the Hamas military wing in southern Gaza Strip. 

“The airstrike was carried out in response to an attempt to cross the border and inflict damages to the border infrastructure, which took place earlier in the day.” Palestinians have been holding rallies near the Gaza border for the last two months.
