ISLAMABAD: Pakistan National Council of the Arts is tasked to prepare a world-class rendition of the national anthem, composed by Ahmed G Chagla, using a highly professional
orchestra to represent Pakistan’s cultural diversity.

To implement this a meeting was chaired by State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb which also reviewed preparations for celebrating 70th independence anniversary of Pakistan.
PNCA Director General Jamal Shah is asked to submit a detailed creative proposal in this connection.

She also directed the Pakistan Television (PTV) to make quality products and creative promos to project this sense of accomplishment and jubilation across the national spectrum on the coming event of independence day which is usually celebrated on 14 August.

Pakistan is celebrating its 70 independence day this year.
