PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

More than 120 people burnt alive after an oil tanker catches fire in Pakistan


Ahmed Pur Sharkia, Bhawal Pur:  More than 120 people were burnt alive, hundred injured after a tanker catches fire as reported by Pakistani Media.

According to News a petrol tanker while turning slipped off the road , locals hearing that the petrol is leaking from the tanker started collecting the petrol and suddenly it caught fire. 

The fire was so quick and huge that it they all were burnt and dead at the moment, it also caught passing motorist and vehicles.

An Eye witness told the media that, there were more than 300 people with cans and bottles to collect the petrol, when suddenly it caught fire. More than 50 burned motor cycles are lying at the scene and lot of dead bodies are still lying around and rescue work is under progress.

There is no burn unit in Bahawal Pur, and injured are taken to Multan which is more than 200 km from the incident.
