PILDAT says Feb 8 polls record lowest fairness score since 2013

  The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has issued a report detailing its assessment of the recently-concluded general election, expressing deep concerns over a decline in fairness scores compared to previous election cycles.

London: MQM's chief Altaf Hussain has said that the U.K government has frozen all of his assets and bank accounts, he revealed this while an interview with a private news channel on Saturday.

He said , "I face money laundering and other cases, which have not been presented in court so far. And without any proof, the British government has sealed all my bank accounts."

He also admitted that authorities has conducted several raids at his house and office and no lawyer is willing to come forward due to fear of British establishment. 

Altaf said that British authorities can jail him or kill him but he will continue to speak the truth and face the troubles alone. 

Altaf Hussain also showed his urge to go back to Pakistan by saying, "If I have to die, then why not in Pakistan."

Talking on national identity card issue he said that he has warts on his legs and feet and therefore, cannot walk properly still he managed to come to the MQM's secretariat in London where Nadra officials carried out the procedure.
