Lahore : Muhammad Hafeez has resigned from T20 captaincy after accepting responsibility for the poor performance of his team in the World T20, he also stepped down from the position of vice-captain in the ODI and Test teams.
Muhammad Hafeez addressing a press conference here said that his decision was not taken under any pressure.
The announcement came a day after Pakistani cricket team arrived in the country from Bangladesh after they were exited from the World T20 tournament.
Muhammad Hafeez, Kamran Akmal, Shoaib Malik, Maqsood, Saeed Ajmal, were among the main players who were unable to show their performance in T20 World tournament.
